According to Hircani, Ramin Sahari, a Gilak citizen from Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh (Kism) and father of two children aged 4 and 7, was killed in Tehran during the nationwide protests of January 2026 by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
