Peyman Moghani

Peyman Moghani was killed on January 9, 2026, in Sabashahr, Shahriar, by plainclothes Basij agents. According to eyewitnesses, Peyman was returning home when he observed a young man being wounded in their neighborhood and attempted to provide assistance. However, Basij agents obstructed him. Peyman reportedly asked the agents, 'Are you not Muslims? This young man is dying on the ground; allow me to help him.' Despite his plea, the Basij agents shot him in the chest from a distance of two meters.
